As a junior rider, Kristen Bumpus took home wins at the MHC Medal Finals, New England Equitation Championships and the Zone 1 Medal Finals as well as Reserve Champion at the AHSA (USEF) Medal Finals.  Early in her professional years, she was fortunate enough to ride with many top trainers including Margie Engle, Elizabeth Solter, Rodney Bross and Leslie Howard.  Kristen went on to emerge as one of the top hunter riders in the Northeast, with countless hunter tri-colors and top derby finishes to her name and has continued to pilot her ever speedy jumper mount “Sparky” to numerous wins.  Kristen began working at Martha Curran’s Arrowhead Farms in 2006 with great success. Her students have competed nationally at USEF Medal and ASPCA Maclay Finals, USEF Talent Search Finals, as well as brought home wins at the MHC Finals and the NEEC. Kristen is a truly dedicated horsewoman that finds great joy in finding the best horse and rider combinations and helping her students to reach goals from short stirrup to Grand Prix levels.
